ASPEN Retreat
Completely unspoiled views on this mountaintop residence 8,500 feet up, this rustic retreat was reinvigorated by editing down certain architectural elements to create a contemporary take on classic Aspen architecture. The main living space has an intricately trussed ceiling that lends itself to a rustic chapel, which we highlighted to its fullest. A complete interior and exterior renovation provide new details throughout, including frameless windows and playful round “moon” windows that enhance the natural light and frames the glorious views. A new palette of earth tones - representing earth, sky, and natural stone - provides a graceful compliment to the views outside.
